Momentarily I'm doing an environmental impact analysis (more or less using a
Life Cycle Assessment-based model) comparing pork and tofu protein. Yet it seems
meat production is quite more environmentally unfr endly and hence, "expensive",

"signing", but I have started to visit often to keep track of feedback from
other guests. Anyone else out there feel like a square peg in a round hole
because you are environmentally concerned, but the world just sems to be headed
over a cliff to ecological and social diaster? Just wanted to tell any other
"Gaian whitecells" out there that we are not alone! Take heart! We're just
unrecognized by the media and the dominant culture, and so we don't realize our
own potential. But there are 50+ million of us! Read 'Cultural Creativ s' by

I just wanted to thank the creators of this timeline. I
have a chemistry project of creating a timeline of important chemistry related
events and the timeline you have on the web helped me the whole way. Not only
was it helpful for my project, but it re inded me that chemistry is so much more
than it is sometimes given credit for. I especially enjoyed how it incorporated
not only chemistry but relative events in history that help the reader be more
aware of the time period. I was wondering why more rec nt events weren't noted,
mostly pertaining to cloning, but I was given the task of finding dates and
such. Expect some coming. Also, I observed an unfortunate trend as I was reading
the timeline. As the years became more recent, more mishaps and abuses of
chemistry were evident, saddeningly(sp) enough. Anyhow, suffice to say, I
thoroughly enjoyed this timeline! Thanks again! ~A grateful Student
